Caravan Warranty Protection
When purchasing a caravan, it’s important to secure comprehensive warranty coverage to safeguard your investment. At New Line Caravans, we provide strong warranty options to ensure your caravan stays in top shape for years to come. Our warranty packages include a 5-year structural warranty on the drawbar and chassis, a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, and a 1-year appliance warranty. To fully understand the extent of your coverage and your responsibilities as an owner, we encourage you to read through our detailed terms and conditions below.
Warranty Coverage
- 5-Year Structural Warranty: Covers the drawbar and chassis, ensuring long-lasting structural integrity.
- 1-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty: Protects against any defects in materials or workmanship.
- 1-Year Appliance Warranty: Covers the appliances within your caravan.
Terms and Conditions
- The warranty begins from the date the caravan is delivered.
- The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- It does not apply to caravans purchased for commercial or rental use.
- Tents are covered for a period of 12 months from delivery.
- Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, or modifications.
- Any costs for transport, accommodation, towing, or recovery due to a warranty claim are the responsibility of the purchaser.
- All warranty repairs must be carried out by New Line Caravans or an authorised dealer with written consent.
- Claims made outside the warranty period will be reviewed, and a determination will be made based on whether the issue is due to a manufacturing defect.
- Our caravans come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Your Responsibilities
To ensure your warranty remains valid, it’s important to:
- Operate, maintain, and care for your caravan as outlined in your user manual.
- Ensure that regular servicing and maintenance are completed, keeping your caravan in top condition and preventing issues arising from neglect.
- For most cases, our warranty is back-to-base, meaning customers are responsible for returning their caravans to our location for repairs.
- For customers located far from our branch or an authorised dealer, we offer the option to get a repair quote from a local third-party repairer. If this quote is found to be unjustified, we will explore alternative repair options. If necessary, the caravan may need to be returned for further evaluation and resolution.
- To make a warranty claim, please contact an authorised New Line Caravans dealer and submit a claim form through our website.
Warranty Claim Expenses
Generally, there is no charge for expenses related to making a claim under the back-to-base warranty. If your caravan becomes unsafe to drive due to a covered failure, an investigation will be conducted by us or our authorised dealer. If the failure is found not to be covered under the warranty, a charge may apply. We will discuss this charge with you in advance.

- Use for permanent residential purposes (only recreational use is covered).
